- It is essential to stick to a minimum of at least two fonts and to make sure that they complement each other and are obviously appropriate for the genre of your choice.
- Stick to three main colours and again make sure they complement each other.
- To use good quality photos so that they are clear and in focus. Also to make sure they are appropriate size for the size of your pane.
- Follow the rule of thrids for composition.
- Include copyright information, barcode, company logo, title of the album.
DONTS:
- Use unnecessary effects they must suit your genre. Also dont over do it on the photoshop.
- Stretch images to fit the panel as it will become out of focus and will not look as good quality.
- Put the text across the artist's face.
- Use fonts because you like them... they must go with eachother and the genre of your artist
- Feel the need to have a photo on every panel. When researching you will come across that a lot of artist only have photo on the front cover of the album.
